In 2019, the Japan Local Government Center celebrated its 30th anniversary of being in North America. We created a commemorative video to summarize the main projects and achievements of the past 30 years and to express our gratitude for the many contributions to our office by the various governmental organizations in the United States and Canada over the years. The Japan National Tourism Organization will host an underwater photography contest centered around the oceans of Japan from October 15th through November 15th. Details can be found at the following URL: https://www.japan.travel/diving/en/photo-contest2020/ The contest seeks photos that showcase the joys of diving in Japan, from the gorgeous sights to the unique sea life. Photos submitted may be used by JNTO to promote diving travel in Japan.
